Training Class Schedule

4-H Dog Project Members,

Don't forget to turn in your IDA forms (vet vaccination affidavit) by May 15! This is mandatory for participation.

Here is the plan:

Dog Project training will start May 18th at 6:00 at the KCKC. Classes will be 45 minutes long with a 5 minute break in between. Arrive 5 minutes before your class so you can water and potty your dog.

A little training everyday works and is best with lots of treats and petting.

At 6:00 Advanced Showmanship (Alex & Brooklyn) in ring 1 and Beginner A and B Obedience (Kaitlyn, Jarod & Hannah) will train in ring 2.

Everybody who wants to be in Showmanship who is not training a Beginner A or B dog is in Advanced Showmanship.

At 6:50 Beginning Showmanship (Hannah) will start in ring 1 and Advanced Obedience in ring 2.

At 7:40 Rally and Intermediate Obedience will start with Novice and Graduate Beginners in ring 2 (Alex & Brooklyn).

To participate in Rally you must have shown more than 1 year in the dog project and shown the dog project leaders that you have mastery of basic training.

If you can not attend your scheduled training time, please let me know so I can let the trainers know who to expect. Please let me know if you have any questions about your time slot or anything else.
